Small Moments

For me, beauty has come in many forms, but the most touching is in the small moments. The crunch of leaves on the walk home. The sharp sting of a winter breeze. The warmth radiating from a mug of tea as steam drifts aimlessly above. The flipping through of an antique book. A delighted smile and hug from someone I adore. The stability of a brick church, where within lies the comfort of silence, safety, and love. That soul with two steeples, inside covered by chipping paint, is where silence speaks, and beauty has shown her face to me.
